My First Day..

Well, I guess I start with something brief and exciting at the same time..(i doubt it will be brief..hehe)
I got a text from a friend of mine, Ka Wei whether I want to join an exchange program and I was like 'Why not?'
So, here I am, blogging from my 'family angkat' home, one of Vienna's relative.
They were really warm and I felt kinda nervous at first but as time flew by, I sorta of adapt myself..felt like I'm in my own house..hehe
Auntie was really considerate, she tukar the kain cadar and sarung bantal for my comfort..I was like 'Nevermind Auntie..I'm OK'..So, Thank you Auntie! :)
I watch video of wedding banquet of Li Jing's eldest sister. Nice! I want the same video-like for my wedding. I get to know see a chinese tradition in wedding in a different
I felt comfortable here(after a few months away from the comfort of a place call home).Hope Vienna will upload some photos.I'll be going to dinner gathering tonight, so I update more to you guys.

1st-Night:Dinner Gathering
Salam and Hi!
Well, it's me again. I was supposed to blog last night but I went dead after putting my head to the pillow.*tsk2*
So, about last night, we had a gathering to celebrate Vienna's cousin, Cheery who will be graduating today(CONGRATS ONCE AGAIN!). The restaurant is at Puchong area. At first, I was a bit 'takut' since I'm the only tudung-ian in the restaurant(everything crossed my mind at that time: Does Vienna's family fine with me, does the food halal, etc). But Li Jing and Jing Jing kept me comfortable, introducing me to their cousins. ;)
Food! The food are awesome. They were considerate of us(me and Hafiz) and didn't order pork.:) It was course-by-course. First we had popia udang, followed by shark-fin soup, steamed fish, prawn goreng, nasi goreng, mee, and manisan buah mata kucing.I don't know if I miss something out(there's a lot of food!).I was full.Really full.Buncit already.Hehe.
Coincidentally, there was a wedding celebration inside the restaurant(we were at the outdoor area), so suddenly I heard a loud "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMM-SEEEENG". Vienna explained to me that was cheers for the newlyweds. Sudddenly, Vienna's family also want to do the same cheer. We toast our drink and Loudly and as long as we can shouted "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMM-SEEEEEENG!". It was hillarious!
I really had fun with that.
So, Vienna's mom was sitting beside me, and she was explaining me the good of sayur.*it was the same lecture I had with my mum..hek2*. I will try my best!Maybe one sayur per day rite? Anyway,I had a good conversation with Hafiz and Vienna about Chinese and Malay wedding tradition. Although I'm a little bit lack of info regarding Malay culture but Hafiz is the pro!:) I think every tradition is unique on its own way. The chinese with "halangan" for the bridegroom before finally meet with the bride, and Malays with the meminang-akad nikah-bersanding.
I guess Hafiz will upload some pics from the dinner gathering. So, let's wait and see.

Till I write again.

Ras.
